The easiest and quickest way of detecting a faulty electrical appliance is to give it a thorough visual and electrical inspection, in other words, a PAT test. If you have a Southampton postocde, you are entitled to have up to 20 items for only £30! The data will be emailed to you and the results will be kept on our database for 7 years. If you need replacement results, these will be emailed to you at no extra charge. No VAT is payable, so £30 is the total price with no hidden extras. With this you still get PAT testing done in the mornings, evenings, Saturdays, or Sundays, at a time to suits you.
The law doesn't require you to test your electrical appliances, but it does impose upon you a duty to protect your employees and members of the public that come into contact with your appliances. If your staff or members of the public are injured through badly maintained electrical equipment, YOU will be held responsible! YOU could face a fine of many thousands of pounds, plus time in prison, depending upon the severity of the injury. Remember that ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law! Even if you didn't realise that the item was faulty, you will still be liable, and will face the full force of the law!
We firmly believe that the only thing that we go through life with, and the only thing that we can be measured by, is our integrity. Because of this, we are totally above board, and welcome questions about, and observations of, our test procedures. We are more than happy to explain everything to you as we do it, and more than happy to have you watch us as we test...
Please feel free to call us and ask us any questions you may have regarding PAT testing, alternatively send us an email and we'll get straight back to you.
